The Embodied Teacher:
200-Hr Vinyasa Training
August 12- November 15, 2026
Teach yoga as a practice of connection to body, breath, and the people in the room.
Learn to hold space where people feel seen, supported, and deeply connected to themselves and each other.
A 200-hour Vinyasa training rooted in presence, integrity, and real human connection.
❋ Trauma-sensitive, inclusive teaching approach
Learn how to create spaces that prioritize choice, autonomy, and accessibility for a wide range of bodies and lived experiences.
❋ Communicate clearly and guide with confidence
Develop the ability to offer clear, effective instruction that helps students understand, respond, and feel supported in their practice.
❋ Build adaptable sequencing for real bodies
Design classes that make sense in the body, with options that meet students where they are rather than expecting them to fit a mold.
❋ Learn to teach rooted in presence and integrity
Cultivate a way of teaching that reflects your values and creates a genuine sense of trust and connection within the room.
The Embodied Teacher is a 200-hour vinyasa yoga teacher training designed to support you in becoming a thoughtful, adaptable, and grounded teacher.
This program goes beyond shapes and sequencing.
It is rooted in the understanding that how we teach matters: how we speak, how we guide, how we show up, and how we relate to the people in the room.
Teaching is not separate from practice.
It is an extension of it.
This training invites you to not only learn yoga…
but to live it through integrity, awareness, and the way you relate to others.
You will learn how to:
communicate clearly and responsibly
guide movement in a way that makes sense in the body
create inclusive, accessible class experiences
understand the relationship between language, movement, and the nervous system
support autonomy rather than pressure
And just as importantly:
practice what you teach
lead from lived experience rather than performance
embody the philosophy, not just speak about it
Rather than focusing on what a pose should look like, this training explores how to teach what is actually happening in the room across different bodies, different experiences, and different needs.
Rooted in trauma-sensitive, experiential, and philosophy-informed practice.
Meet Kait
(she/her)
A practitioner of radical kindness.
A student of her body.
A believer that how you treat yourself matters more than how anything looks.
I came to yoga through injury, through relearning, through having to listen more closely than I ever had before. That experience shaped everything about how I teach.
I’ll meet you at your edge—not to push you past it, but to help you understand it, build from it, and trust yourself within it.
Because this practice isn’t just about movement.
It’s about how you show up for yourself.
At SoHum Yoga Studio, we practice from the understanding that SoHum “I am that” means we are not separate from one another.
We are reflections.
We are teachers for each other.
We are part of something shared.
Every person who walks into the room adds a thread to the tapestry.
And together, we create a space rooted in presence, connection, and care.
You don’t have to prove anything here.
You just have to show up.
You belong here

You belong here *
-
This training is not about becoming the most advanced person in the room.
It is about becoming aware, responsible, and embodied.
The one who creates the container where healing can occur.
There is no pedestal here.
Because teaching from a pedestal creates distance.
And yoga is about connection.
You are not being shaped into a specific kind of teacher.
You are being supported in becoming someone who:
listens
observes
adapts
and responds with care
Teaching is approached as a relationship, not a performance.
A relationship between:
you and your students
your words and their experience
your presence and the environment you help create
And that relationship carries impact.
-

-practical communication skills that help students understand what to do and how to do it
-experience adjusting your teaching in real time based on what you observe in the room
-a consistent and reliable approach to teaching that you can build on over time
And most importantly:
the ability to create class environments where students can move at their own pace, make choices that work for their bodies, and feel supported in staying within their own experience
WHY THIS MATTERS
Yoga has the potential to bridge the space
between disconnection and belonging.
But that happens through how we:
show up
speak
listen
and guide
This training is here to support you in doing that with care.
COMMUNITY & CONNECTION
This training is not something you move through alone.
It is something you experience within a group of people who are also learning, questioning, and growing alongside you.
Community is part of the practice.
You will:
witness others in their process
be witnessed in your own
learn how to give and receive feedback with care
engage in reflection and shared experience
Because teaching yoga is not just about guiding individuals.
It is about holding space for collective experience.
Over time, this group becomes:
a support system
a mirror
a place to practice showing up as you are
And that sense of connection becomes an integral part of how you teach.
