Meet Katherine

Katherine Florentine, ERYT 500, has been teaching in the Grand Rapids Community for 20+ years. Her studies have focused on therapeutic applications of yoga with teachers who are leaders in their field. Katherine has led classes and workshops for cardiac rehab, scoliosis, respiratory disorders, Parkinson’s and recovery from illness & injury. Most recently her practice has supported her recovery & management of rheumatoid arthritis. Katherine guides her students to practice “Ahimsa”, non harming & loving compassion towards oneself & others. Your yoga practice will support vitality & clarity, mindfulness, and finding comfort & ease in your body no matter what your stage of life or physical limitations.

Katherine teaches on Tuesdays and Sundays, 10am and noon
